Hind Aleryani

Hind Aleryani is a writer, journalist, public speaker and member of the UN-Women Yemeni Women’s Pact for Peace and Security. Was awarded as Arab Woman of the Year in Social Change. She is a member of Marie Colvin Journalists' Network and have a weekly program on Monte Carlo Doualiya Radio.

Several of her articles have been published in numerous Arabic and Western newspapers, including the Washington Post, French TV5 Monde, Aftonbladet, MiddleEast Eye, and Al-Arabiya. One of her articles entitled “Why don’t men cover their faces” was translated to 5 languages and was recommended by The Mirror.

She received Arab Women of the Year Award 2017 in public awareness, the award is organized by the London Arabia Organisation with support from the Mayor of London, Regent's University in London. Because of her advocacy for peace, women's rights and sustainability in Yemen.
